In line with the University’s commitment to sustainability, the West Hub does not have any dedicated parking. The nearest public parking is at the Madingley Road Park and Ride, which is just a short walk from the building.

We strongly encourage visitors to use public transport, cycle, or arrive on foot where possible. From the city centre, the West Hub is a:

• 33-minute walk via the scenic Coton footpath
• 10-minute cycle ride
• Short ride on bus routes 4, 8, U, X3, or the Madingley Road Park & Ride service

Cycle parking is available in multiple areas around the building, including the South Plaza off JJ Thomson Avenue. Showers and lockers can be found on the ground floor next to the canteen. Please note, for security reasons, lockers are cleared out each night, so remember to take your belongings with you at the end of the day.

The West Hub has two accessible parking spaces (on JJ Thomson Avenue), gender neutral bathrooms, a state-of-the-art Changing Places facility and baby change spaces.

Our accessible shower is available on the ground floor, with accessible bathrooms on each floor on both ends of the building.

All floors are serviced by two lifts and the variety of furniture throughout the building gives lots of options for workspaces.
