Small Grants Programme

The West Hub hosts an exciting series of programming, including events and activities, to promote the building and the Cambridge West Innovation District to both University and external audiences.

These events and activities are centred around key themes for the Hub related to Learning, Collaboration, and Socialising. Exhibitions, concerts, sports activities, increased food offerings, events for children and weekly entrepreneurship gatherings bring interest and awareness to the building and the wider site. These events showcase the area as an attractive place to work, live, socialise, and collaborate with Industry, and we want to work with you deliver more such events.

The West Hub Small Grants Programme is aimed at offering members of the University of Cambridge an opportunity to access funds to host social events at the West Hub and take advantage of its state-of-the-art facilities.

Within the West Hub Small Grants Programme are two funds:

West Hub Researchers Fund:

Open specifically for Researchers and Post Docs at the University of Cambridge looking to host guest speaker events and socials. There will be 2 rounds of funding each year with a total of 10 grants (5 grants per round).

West Hub Community Fund:

Open to all members of the University of Cambridge who are interested in, and require support with hosting events for the wider community. There will be 2 rounds of funding each year with a total of 6 grants (3 grants per round).
